WHAT ARE YOU BUILDING!

“Don’t tell me the moon is shining, show me the glint of light on broken glass.” That is a guiding principle for me. Whether I am writing or editing, I seek to paint words with vivid brushstrokes, tapping into ideas through images, feelings through sensations, facts through well-mined research. Once I start a project, my focus goes into striking compelling notes of expression within a given equation.
Let me tell you a story of a jazz artist named Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong applied to attend a music school. At the audition, he was given scales to sing, but he could only sing the first two notes properly and he was told he didn’t have what it takes to be a musician. Every individual in hearing this will cry for days for being rejected in their place of interest. Just imagine as a lady being rejected from Mac cosmetics for her inability to distinguish face corrector or a man being rejected from a 1 billion dollar contract he has been working on for years.
Think of it, how devastating is it? Louis Armstrong cried because of the pain of being rejected but he didn’t just stop there. His zeal didn’t just die neither did his dream of becoming an artist. The story continued by saying he told his friends afterward, “I know that there is music in me, and they can’t keep it out.” History has it that Louis Armstrong became one of the most successful and beloved jazz musicians who sold more records and made more money than scores of others who were more talented at singing. Now he is forever etched in the history of music. The eyes that look are common but the eyes that see are rare. The force of vision is the most powerful force of life. Where do you see yourself making your utmost contributions in life?
What are you worth?
Where are you improving is it spirituality, mentally, academically, morally, financially, physically etc.?
Why are you living your life the way you are?
How much is your price tag?
What do you stand for?
What do you specialize in?
What are you trading your life for?
What do you invest your time in?
What do you feed your mind with?
How do you engage your competences?
Where do you dominate?
Who is your life influencing?
Are you developing?
What are your potentials?
How many words which come out from your mouth do you mean?
What are your intentions, are they positive?
This is a new year, a blank cheque, a new book, month, page, a new start and a new opportunity to excel and roar. This is your season, your hour, your moment, your time to soar, arise, triumph, shine radiantly in all areas of your life. The race you run is not the race between people but between you to predetermine you to were your best will be expressed. Don’t live as a wondering personality but as a significant star. You may not look like what you manifest, but what you manifest is inside of you, focus on what you are capable of doing now then God will move you to the next level

God can’t prosper what you don’t do, he can’t bless what you don’t build, the blessing will always land on what you build.
Your future will only live on what you build it on; it will live on what you build
There’s a power, richness, blessing that comes out from pain.
A lit bit of you should change the whole world
You have to be different if you want to change anything
Real faith builds on something that doesn’t exist,
Never live your life with no difference or change
Never live your life with regrets
The worst thing to be is to be ordinary
Faith doesn’t mean God will do your work for you, it simply means trusting God and believing Him when you can't see anything but "Faith without work is dead" (James 2 : 14 - 26)
